LUNDBECK FOUNDATION AWARDS GRANTS WORTH DKK 90 MILLION TO 18 TALENTED RESEARCHERS

The Lundbeck Foundation has just completed its assessment of this year’s applicants for research grants in the Ascending Investigators category.

The grant allocation totalled DKK 90,138,130.
This amount will be shared between 18 researchers, and each will receive DKK 5 million on average.

Ascending Investigators grants are awarded to established and talented researchers at Danish universities and hospitals.
The aim of the grants is to give recipients the opportunity to further advance their research careers and enable them to make meaningful scientific contributions to neuroscience and to the treatment of diseases related to the nervous system.

‘We were delighted to receive so many exciting projects, and we’re very pleased that the Lundbeck Foundation Ascending Investigators grants will enable these talented researchers to develop their projects for the benefit of Danish neuroscience research,’ says Jan Egebjerg, Director of Research at the Lundbeck Foundation.
