Kasper Riis is the new Head of Communications at the Lundbeck Foundation.

On 1 January 2024, the Lundbeck Foundation welcomed Kasper Riis, who took up his appointment in a new role in the Foundation as Head of Communications. Kasper Riis will be supervising the Foundation’s communications team, with responsibility for ensuring that the Foundation is perceived as receptive and transparent, and as a resourceful and constructive partner for the many parties and stakeholders it engages with.

‘We’re very pleased to welcome Kasper Riis to the Lundbeck Foundation and look forward to benefiting from his wide-ranging experience from a long career in corporate communications, most recently at Nets Group and before that at Tryg, where he also had touchpoints with foundation work. With more than ten years' experience in the field of life science from Nycomed, NNE and Lundbeck, he is familiar with the Lundbeck Foundation’s scope from many different angles,’ said Inge Berneke, SVP Corporate Affairs at Lundbeck Foundation.

Riis holds a BA in communication from Roskilde University (1994) and trained as a journalist with the newspaper Dagbladet Aktuelt (1999). He has more than 20 years of experience in the world of consulting and corporate affairs, in which his succession of executive positions with both Danish and international companies placed him in charge of corporate reputation, communications and public relations.
