Visiting Professorships

The Lundbeck Foundation Visiting Professorships in biomedicine 2010-11.

In 2010/11 the Danish biomedical research environment can apply for funding to attract foreign guest researchers at the professor level to Denmark for 2 – 6 months.

The Lundbeck Foundation will fund each Visiting Professorship with max. DKK 750,000,-.The duration of the stay in Denmark must be between 2-6 months. Stays of shorter or longer duration will not be considered.

The application form should be filled out by biomedical research leaders at Danish universities/university hospitals who work within the research areas covered by the Foundation's grant strategy for biomedical research, which can be read at : Grant strategy

The application must include an explanation of the visiting professor's scientific qualifications including a CV and publication list, research plan for the stay in Denmark, budget and justification of how he/she will strengthen research at the applying institution/department.

Applications should be made by a research leader at the receiving institution/department and submitted via the Foundation's electronic application system for Visiting Professorships.

Applications will be processed within 3-4 weeks.
