Inge Berneke joined the Lundbeck Foundation in August 2019 and is entrusted with a variety of functions, including strategy, HR and public and legal affairs. Her move to the Lundbeck Foundation followed 14 years with international consultancy Egon Zehnder where she was a member of the global partnership and the management team in Denmark.
Inge has management experience from international consultancy firms and industrial enterprises, and she began her career in the Danish central government. Inge is a political science graduate from the University of Copenhagen and Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, and she holds an MBA from INSEAD. Her career began in the Danish Foreign Ministry and, after completing her MBA, she moved to London to join Accenture and then telecommunications companies Orange and TeliaSonera before joining Egon Zehnder in 2005.
Inge is a member of the board of directors of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art as well as CfL (Centre for Leadership).
